Privacy Policy — Quiet Block for LinkedIn

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Quiet Block for LinkedIn does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. There is no server, no analytics, and no network request of any kind. Everything the extension does happens locally, in your browser.

What the extension stores

The extension stores exactly two things, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API:

This data is stored by Chrome itself. If you are signed in to Chrome, Chrome may sync it across your own devices under your own Google account. The developer has no access to it, and it is never sent to the developer or to any third party. You can delete all of it at any time by removing people from the blocklist in the extension's popup, or by uninstalling the extension.

What the extension reads

To do its job, the extension reads the content of the LinkedIn feed page you are viewing — specifically, the author of each post and the attribution line stating that a person liked, commented on, or reposted something. This happens entirely within your browser, in order to decide whether to hide a post. Nothing that is read is stored, logged, or transmitted.

The extension runs only on https://www.linkedin.com/*. It does not run on any other website.
